I have taken IEP class over one month so far, and I think that I am doing well so far. However, I still question whether how we can learn vocabulary though reading a book. It can help us memorizing vocabulary, but it takes more time. I think that I have learned many vocabularies from this class, but when I studied TOEFL, Test Of English as Foreign Language, it helped me more than now. In my opinion, reading a novel dose not help us when we talk with others because the novel has a lot of art style vocabularies. It is uncommon in our life. I prefer learning usual English to learning unusual English. If we cannot speak English after studying English over one year, we would be able to give up studying English. I hope that sometimes we need to study how native use what kinds of word or sentence which is real English.
